LOWER COLUMBIA FISH RECOVERY BOARD

Cowlitz Restoration & Recovery Grant Program
A new habitat program to support Upper Cowlitz basin salmon and steelhead recovery
The 2022 CRR Grant Program is CLOSED
The Cowlitz Restoration & Recovery (CRR) Program supports habitat projects in lieu of upstream volitional fish passage through the Cowlitz Hydroelectric Project.
This program is supported by a $17 million dollar program established by Tacoma Power Utilities to implement projects that protect and promote the recovery of ESA-listed Upper Cowlitz and Cispus River salmon and steelhead.
Program Area

The Cowlitz Restoration & Recovery Program supports habitat projects in the Upper Cowlitz basin upstream of the Barrier Dam, and in the Lower Cowlitz mainstem river between its confluence with the Toutle River and the Barrier Dam.
